The Factoring Process

How much funding can I get? What is the cost?

Factoring fees and advance amounts are established by a combination of the following:

Monthly Factored Volume   |   Your Customer's Credit Worthiness   |   Size of Invoices   |   Average Payment Cycle

How does it work?Application Information

The submission of a simple 3-page application along with your accounts receivable and payable aging report will allow us to prepare a proposal for your company detailing the factoring fees and the advance rate. We can turn around a proposal within 24 – 48 hours.

FSW Funding does not have any hidden fees. All fees are discussed and disclosed upfront so you can understand the total cost of factoring. Besides the factoring fee, the client is charged a nominal fee for electronic deposits and wire transfer transactions.

How does it work?

Factoring invoices is easy and takes little administrative work.

As a FSW Funding client, here is how factoring will work for you:

  1. An invoice is created for goods delivered or services provided. The client stamps or prints on the invoice to remit payment to FSW Funding.
  2. A copy of the invoice and a cover sheet is submitted via fax to FSW Funding.
  3. FSW Funding will confirm the invoice is valid
  4. FSW Funding will deposit the cash advance (usually 70 – 85%) to the client’s bank account via electronic deposit or wire transfer.
  5. The client is primarily responsible for doing collections on the invoices. This ensures the client retains control over their customer relations.
  6. Payment is remitted to FSW Funding when due.
  7. When payment is made in full for a factored invoice, the balance or reserve (e.g., the amount not advanced) is due to the client less any earned factoring fees.
